Mid February already. One advantage of so many Giftware trade shows being in January and February is it’s makes the coldest darkest months of the year pass quite quickly. Also, once inside a giftware trade show you are surrounded by the largest newest shiniest innovative giftware and a fantastic atmosphere, you could be anywhere anytime so it always provides a brief respite from January blues.
Sienna Glass Ltd had stands at Giving and Living Exeter, Scotland’s gift and food Show Glasgow and of course the Spring Fair at the NEC Birmingham. It was great to see all our customers and to meet new ones. Our range of handcrafted giftware received excellent feedback from sales over the Christmas period. Hearts and Birthstones remaining a firm favourite. This year we will be launching a ball especially for Mother’s Day after many requests to cater for this special day.
Aroma atomisers were a trending item at all the giftware shows this spring. Sienna Glass introduced three designs in the Autumn. With beautiful hand crafted tops, a refreshing change from the many bamboo designs available, these come in silver gold and white. Just fill with water and a few drops of your favourite essential oil and set the timer for your preferred length of time. These can be used just as a lamp without vapour if you wish. The light inside changes colour which totally changes the appearance of the diffuser, you can have ambient colour change lighting or fix to your favourite to match your colour scheme.
Those of you that saw us that the Scotland gift and food show or the NEC Spring Fair will also have seen three new designs of Sienna Glass Aromatic Atomiser diffusers, a slightly bigger version in three colours blue gold and black. For some it was love at first sight, the beautiful iridescent finish is truly stunning and we already have healthy pre-orders for these items which will be available early May.
Sienna Glass will finally be making the long awaited move to their new purpose built premises late February early March time. In the flurry of dispatching the post show orders this is causing much excitement and planning of the new layout is well under way. We know this will make us even more efficient and stream lined and look forward to welcoming visitors once we are settled in.
Brexit was a hot topic at the first shows and interest seemed to wane as more “No decisions” were made. By spring fair the attitude was very much just do something so we know what we are dealing with. The giftware industry is resilient and seems to be approaching the future with determination and optimism. Whatever is it......bring it on we are ready!
