On International Women’s Day, we want to take a moment to recognise and celebrate the incredible women who run, manage and grow the independent shops and retail spaces we are proud to supply.

So many of our Sienna Glass stockists are women led businesses. From single store gift shops to multi site garden centres, we see first hand the resilience, creativity and determination that goes into running a retail business. Behind every carefully curated display is a woman balancing buying decisions, customer service, staffing, stock management and a hundred other daily demands.

Independent retail is not easy. It takes courage to back your own taste, invest in new collections and build a loyal customer base. The women who choose to stock Sienna Glass do so because they believe in quality, craftsmanship and thoughtful gifting. That shared belief is something we are truly grateful for.

International Women’s Day is not only about celebrating inspirational figures on a global stage. It is also about recognising the everyday leaders in our industry. The shop owners who open their doors early, refresh displays late and continue to adapt to changing retail conditions with strength and professionalism.
